Special Memories

	The Birth Of Trent Our memories of Trent begin when his Mom, Lisa, was first pregnant with Trent. She lived with us throughout her pregnancy and stayed with us until months after Trent was born. Oh what a celebration when Trent came on the scene...!! Trent's dad, our son Craig, loved that he had a "Son". He and Lisa had chosen the name "Trent" long before he was even conceived. I, along with Lisa's Mom, Mary-Eli, had the indescribable pleasure of being in the delivery room throughout the labor and delivery. What a joy to have been a witness to the birth of my very first grandchild! The doctor asked if I wanted to cut the umbilical cord and I jumped at the opportunity! Our entire family sat in the waiting room for this blessed event. We were all anxious to meet Craig and Lisa's little baby boy.....Trent Michael Smart.

	Happy Halloween Trent, it is Halloween 2005 and I am thinking of you and what you will be doing tonight. I wonder what costume you will wear and wish I could see you. I had a big party with your 3 cousins, Taylor, Alyssa and Gavin yesterday. We bobbed for apples, played pin the nose on the pumpkin, had a costume contest did a "monster" craft and danced to the Monster Mash. I dressed up in your Pepe's police uniform.... Auntie Lauren, Aunt Megan and Uncle Ryan were here to help with the party. Uncle Troy and PePe had to work but they came after to see everyone!...oh how I wish you could have been here with us....I think of you all the time and miss you so very much!

	Max & Maddie have puppies! Our Dogs Maddie & Max had 6 puppies! You loved them!!!!!! And they loved you! Meme' was always yelling at the dogs for Barking and every time we came into the house I would say"Git" to them. You thought it was so funny and before long you were saying "git" every time you saw Maddie or Max. You were too young to be talking, but you really did say a lot of words early....."git" may have been your first word! The puppies made a nice photograph with you but I was anxious to get them in good homes! your Dad's brother, Troy (Your Uncle) took one of the puppies ...he and his wife (Megan) and children Alyssa and Tommy) still have that dog and his name is Drake.....we call him our "grand dog" and love him to death. Pepe' is especially attached to him. Your Dad liked dogs a lot. I have lots of pictures of Him with Maddie and Max. I wonder if you have pets now and what their names are. I remember your Mom liking dogs too!

	"MO MO" Oh Trent, I have so many memories of you. I 'm going to try to write as many as I can so that some day you can read about when your Dad was alive and we were all a huge part of your life! I remember you LOVED Elmo on Sesame Street. You would get all excited when you heard the theme song on TV. and point to the television and say "Mo Mo" It was just so much fun to watch you sing and dance along with Elmo!!!
